Linda Thomas Wade, President and Co-Founder, and Alysian Thomas, Executive
Assistant, to the Sickle Cell Association of the Marc Thomas Foundation were
privileged to be exclusively invited to the White House to meet with President Barack
Obama on March 24, 2009 with four others. During his First 100 Days President
Obama invited them to meet in his Oval Office where he avowed to support Sickle Cell
Disease. Linda Thomas Wade and Alysian Thomas were humbled and honored at
this profound experience.
